Who?
Orchard City Games is teaming up with The Penti-Con again, and bringing in multiple vendors to enhance the player experience at our biggest event yet! We’re accepting applications for vendors to attend within our space, so that our attendees can have direct access to more products and services they’re interested in from shops within the region. Stores like Level Up Games in Oosoyoos and Dragon Cards & Games in Kelowna have already expressed interest in attending to add to the customer experience.
What?
We will be hosting a large variety of games throughout the day. Magic: the Gathering, Flesh and Blood, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Digimon, Dungeons & Dragons will be available throughout the day in both large competitive events, and in more casual formats as well. We’ve been applying for convention support for each of our tournaments from their respective companies and are well on our way to having a great time with lots of promotional materials and qualifying seats! Other stores have been invited to host tournaments within the venue in addition to those that we plan to host ourselves. Below is a draft of events for the day, this will grow and develop of course – but even our start point is a recipe for an amazing day of events!
When?
October 22, 2023 is the date for all of our tournaments at the convention! Our team of staff and volunteers will be working tirelessly to bring you an epic gaming experience all day on the Sunday of the convention.
Where?
The Penticton Trade and Convention Center is once again the venue of The Penti-Con. Those of you who joined us last year – we will be in the same building, but in the much larger Salon A (8,364 square feet). This allows us to have much more running inside our space, as well as giving us the ability to have a direct connection to the rest of the convention so that players can easily move between the two throughout the day!
