This year at the Penti-Con we are offering an even bigger schedule of events than previously, with even more prizing! Let’s get into some of that now! Magic: The Gathering
We have 5 RCQs this time AND a legacy 1k tournament and smaller side events all afternoon, with a shared prize pool value of over $6,000 up for grabs in modern and legacy tournaments, plus additional random prizing and commander prizes for a total of approximately $10,000 of Magic: The Gathering prizes.
Prize Structures: All RCQs with a prize pool over $500 will have this prizing in addition to RCQ kit materials.
- 1st: 40% of the prize pool in prize tickets (including choice of one of the oversized cards)
- 2nd: 20% of the prize pool in prize tickets
- 3-4th: 10% of the prize pool in prize tickets
- 5-8th: 5% of the prize pool in prize tickets
