We have decided to launch weekly Flesh and Blood League Play as a part of the Orchard City Games Tournament Series. League Play will not only have it’s own weekly prizing rewards, but also provide entry to larger competitive tournaments!
How does it work?
This is a mixed league, with tournaments of multiple formats being played each month. League events will cost $15 for Constructed, $20 for Draft, and run every Saturday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Formats will be alternating, as per our monthly event calendar, which can be viewed here or by looking at our upcoming events section on the website. League events will be primarily Classic Constructed, with one Blitz and one Draft event in each month.
Prizing for each event will be awarded in store credit, using an attendance based prize structure. This store credit can be used for future league events, and/or purchases in store or online.
Overall league scoring will be points based off attendance AND performance combined, with points being awarded for each event attended, and for match wins. Overall league score will matter when it comes to the quarterly rotation of larger events.
League players will use their total league points to earn invites to larger events. These larger events with prize pools up to $1,000 will be held quarterly – which other players will have to pay to enter. When possible we will schedule these events to line up with other LSS promotions & events like Skirmish, ProQuest, etc. in order to increase the value.
After the larger OCG Series Quarterly event, league will begin running again with a point reset so we can begin working towards invites for the next quarterly event, and encourage both new and existing players to join a fresh league with an even playing field.
